LiPAF has recently been invited to perform at three international folklore festivals in the Czech Republic in June 2010. It is an honour to have been selected as one of only a few international dance groups selected each year to perform at the Plzen, Frydek Mistek, and Straznice Festivals. While in the Czech Republic, the LiPAF performers will receive accommodation, meals, travel, and a sightseeing program. LiPAF is currently raising funds to pay for air fare.

LiPAF has also been hired to perform the opening number for the 2009 Zambian Tourism Awards Ceremonies to be held at the Zambezi Sun Resort on Friday, November 20, 2009.

LiPAF has partnered with Olga’s Project to bring tourists a new dining and dancing experience. Olga’s is an Italian Restaurant in Livingstone with great food, including a delicious variety of oven baked pizza.  It is unique, however, in that it runs Olga’s Project which sponsors the Youth Community Training Centre where skill training is offered to young people in Livingstone in a variety of trades and professions. Starting on November 17, 2009, a dinner package is available at Olga’s which includes a dance work and short performance followed by a dinner. Charges are just K100,000. Money raised by Olga’s goes to support YCTC and LiPAF staff are using their profits as a fund raiser for the trip in June 2010 where they will be performing in  the Czech Republic at three international foldlore festivals.
